Persons with skin abrasions, infections, colds, coughs, inflamed eyes, or wearing bandages or Band-Aids are asked to refrain from using the pools for the safety and comfort of others. The lifeguards are authorized to use their discretion to refuse admission to any person with such condition.
Children in both the main pool and the kiddie pool who are not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper AND a rubber/plastic covering.
The following behaviors are not permitted and may result in immediate expulsion from the pool and recreation areas:
Spitting
Diving Over Others
Foul Language
Wrestling
Dunking
Pushing
Abusive Language
At the first sound of THUNDER or sign of LIGHTNING, everyone must leave the pools and remain out of the water until the lifeguards permit re-entry.
Diving
Jumping or diving from the side of the pool in water shallower than four (4) feet is not permitted.
Only one diver at a time may be on the diving board.
Do not begin a dive until the previous diver or swimmer is out of the way. After you dive, surface and immediately clear the area for the next diver.
Snorkels, inner tubes, rafts, metal and rigid plastic toys, and Styrofoam articles are not permitted in the main pool at any time. Use of pool-approved kick boards will be allowed at the discretion of the lifeguards; however, persons unable to swim may not use such devices in water over their heads.
Children requiring inflatable waist belts or arm bands to swim may use them only in the shallow end of the pool and must be accompanied by an adult or qualified babysitter at all times.
The pool deck within five (5) feet of the pool must remain free of obstructions, such as deck chairs.
